Requirements: Windows 7 or greater Mac OS 10.9 or greater. I’ll gladly give it a 5-star rating if the above are resolved. Plugins formats: VST2 & VST3 Audio Units (Mac) AAX (64 bits). It combines over 110 virtual Indian instruments in VSTi/AU and AAX format along with a Librarian pane to browse and select among a collection of thousands of MIDI loops from the Indian classical and folkloric repertoire. Scrolling in the folder and items lists is a similar nightmare as swiping does not work. SwarPlug is the most integrated way of adding tracks of Indian instruments in your compositions. It also comes with lots of ready-made MIDI loops for each instrument. It can be loaded in most VST, Audio Units and AAX compatible DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) like Cubase, Logic, Ableton Live, Protools, FL Studio etc. No full screen mode in AU inside Cubasis. The SwarPlug synth plugin includes Halgi and over 80 other perfectly sampled virtual Indian instruments. They should just revert the instrument list to a regular list with alpha sorting. This is a very BAD UX for absolutely no reason. Every time we open the instrument list, it goes to the top of the list forcing us to scroll down again instead of auto-scrolling to the selected instrument on the track. We have to scroll using an arrow at the bottom that is missed most of the time. The instrument is not sorted at all, instruments are scattered all over the place and it is laid out in 4 column mode with some custom scrolling that is a hit or miss (most of the time miss) and the list closes abruptly for 99% of the time! Swiping the list does not work but selects the wrong instrument. Keep in mind this is a demo instrument and you will need the pro. SwarPlug 4 has over 80+ sampled Indian instruments. Selecting presets has the WORST UX when used as an AU inside Cubasis. SwarPlug 4 is a Free Sitar VST Instrument.
